- Something comfortable to sit on. (Lawn Chair/Blanket)
- Some cash or plastic to buy food and stuff with.
- Items such as sunscreen, chapstick, etc. to protect you from the sun’s rays.
- Jacket, umbrella and/or raincoat
- Extra cash for the offering, food and goodies
- A Bible would be good.
WHAT NOT TO BRING WITH YOU:
- Clothing that would draw attention to you.
- Man’s “best friend” or any pet! Son Fest is for people.
- Any motorized vehicle like ATV, golf cart, etc. None of these are allowed on the Son Fest grounds.
- Alcohol Camp stoves/grills Illegal Substances/drug paraphernalia
- Video cameras or other audio recording equipment due to copyright laws and artist’s requests.

Professional photographers must have
individual clearance from the management of each
artist he/she plans to shoot.
- Tents or umbrellas, as they block the view of the person behind you.
- Fireworks

Once I've entered the festival site, can I leave and return the same day? |
Yes. This is a free event which will allow you re-entry. |

What is the sponsoring
organization for Son Fest? |
Primarily Lake Deerwood Fellowship. However many others are involved as well! |

Is Son Fest strictly a youth /teen event? |
No, Son Fest is a cross-generational festival with music and activities for grand parents to grandkids. |

How can I volunteer at Son Fest? |
We encourage everyone to volunteer online. Minimum Age is 16. See our volunteer page. |

Are pets allowed? |
No; however seeing eye dogs are welcome. |

Are skateboards or rollerblades allowed in the event? |
NO! It's grass for cryin' out loud. |
|
Is this a rain or shine event? |
That depends- if a few stray pop-up showers occur, we will attempt to wait them out like last year. |

Is the festival site wheelchair accessible? |
Yes. However the event is on grass so be aware of this. |

Are lawn chairs allowed? |
Yes, but please be respectful of others. Keep in mind that viewing space is not reserved and patrons may be standing in front of you during a performance. |

Are there activities for children? |
We offer a children's area for children 10 and under! |
|
Where are the restrooms located? |
Restrooms are at the main entrance and will be clearly marked. |
|
Are cameras Allowed? |
Only still picture cameras are allowed. Absolutely No video cameras are allowed (except by permission of Son Fest). |

How much is parking? |
Parking is FREE! Keep in mind that our parking lot is grass-covered and inclement weather can affect the terrain. |

Can I bring my own food? |
Yes! Please bring your own food. You’re allowed to bring a cooler with food and drinks – but NO alcohol or illegal stuff. We will check coolers as they come in to make sure you’re not trying to sneak that stuff in. So make it easy on us and just forget about it. |

Can I bring a camp stove? |
NO. No flames of ANY kind are permitted on the festival grounds. So saith the Fire Marshal. |
|
What if we want to cook our food? |
That’s fine. But the Fire Marshal won’t let you do it with flames on our festival grounds. Please plan accordingly! |

Can I smoke at the festival? |
No. We are a smoke-free event. You are welcome to step off festival grounds if you must smoke. |

Is there a Lost and Found? |
Lost and found is available during the festival in the registration table, located on the west side of the site adjacent to the street. Please report any lost items to the Son Fest staff. Unclaimed items will be held for 20 (twenty) days after the festival. Please call our HQ at (903) 777-2865 or email us at info@sonfestonline.com after the festival to inquire into missing items. Son Fest is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items during the festival. So please try to keep your valuables with you. |

What about the bands? Can I get their autographs? |
As always, meet your favorite artists at their merch table. Most of our artists participate, but not all are guaranteed to sign due to travel schedules and other conflicts. |
