Son Fest Prayer

    Prayer is not an afterthought or a part of the agenda; it is the agenda, it is the foundation of all that we do for Him. Prayer is what releases God’s power and presence for us. Son Fest recognizes the need for and the power of prayer. From the beginning of our journey, we have prayerfully sought God's will for the event.

    Prayer is at the heart and will of God.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
-2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

 

    Through fervent prayer God’s power is manifested and the prisoners are set free: But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.
-Acts 16:22 5-26 NKJV

Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, "Arise quickly!" And his chains fell off his hands.
-Acts 12: 5- 7 NKJV

    It is our hearts desire to see God’s presence and will be done at Son Fest. Jesus states in John 14:13-14, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

 

Son Fest Prayer Team

 

    People are needed to stand with the Son Fest staff in prayer to see the desires of the Father be accomplished at Son Fest this year. If you would consider prayer for the event and for the staff, please email us to let us know. We feel blessed to know that there is prayer being lifted up in support of Son Fest and in support of each one of us as we attempt to stay God-centered.

 

The following is a suggested prayer:

Praise God for His goodness and faithfulness and thank Him for the work He has done and continues to do through Son Fest.

Also, please pray for...

·         God's continuous direction

·         The willingness of everyone involved to stay within His will

·         A renewal of believers through their involvement in Son Fest

·         An outpouring of His Spirit for nonbelievers

·         The protection and anointing of the ministry of our artists, now and while ministering at Son Fest.

·         Committed leadership

·         Protection and care for His servants who have committed themselves to bringing Son Fest to the area

·         His special blessing on our Sponsors and contributors

·         And that He will continue to meet our financial needs

As a member of the Prayer Team you can prayer before, during and/or after the festival. Updated prayer requests will be sent out by e-mail before the festival. We pray that you will be blessed by your involvement with Son Fest.

Prayer Tent

Open from 10:30am – 6:45pm. Sponsored by Lake Deerwood Fellowship.
